Jacques Payet Shihan, 7th Dan in Yoshinkan Aikido, will be making his yearly visit to Southern California from Japan in a few weeks. It is a rare opportunity to train with such a highly ranked, extremely skilled, and compassionate master instructor. Aiki-Kids Testing on Jan 31st

Great Kagami Biraki celebration this year everyone! We had a great turnout and we were very pleased to see such excitement and wonderful demonstrations.nnWe have many great events planned for 2015. First of all, we are hosting our first belt test of the year for Aiki-Kids only on January 31st at 11am. Many white belts have been invited to a special test prep class this Friday from 6:30-7:15pm free of charge. We will begin test preparation this week. 明けましておめでとうございます! Happy New Year! It is that time again where Aikido of Del Mar is putting on the biggest event of the year. We are excited to officially kick start our training this year by a tradition of reflecting of the past and rededicating to the future — come and join us to celebrate Kagami Biraki (鏡開き) on Saturday, Jan 17th from 11am-1:30pm. Happy New Year Everyone, I wish you and your family a wonderful 2015.
